privacy policy

last updated: 2026-09-09

This policy explains what personal data randomtattoos.com ("we", "us") collects when you use the Placement Studio booking tool, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it under the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

data we collect

When you submit a booking inquiry through the Placement Studio, we collect:

We do not use cookies, analytics, or tracking scripts anywhere on this site. The only third party involved in loading the page itself is Google Fonts, which serves the site's typeface.

how we use it

Your inquiry is sent by email to our studio inbox (dwn@randomtattoos.com) so we can review your requested placement and reply to arrange a booking. We process this data on the basis of your consent in submitting the form, and because it's necessary to take the steps you've requested toward a tattoo booking (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(b)).

where it's stored

Submissions are handled by Contact Form 7, a plugin on our WordPress backend, which delivers your inquiry directly to our email inbox. We do not save inquiries as browsable records in our website's database — the WordPress backend only stores the catalog of flash designs, not client submissions. Your data lives in our email inbox and mail hosting for as long as we need it to arrange and complete your booking, and is deleted when it's no longer needed for that purpose.

your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, email us at dwn@randomtattoos.com.

security

Submissions are sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. We take reasonable technical measures to protect the data you send us, but no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will update the "last updated" date above.
